Now, you may well ask yourself "what fresh hell is THIS?" I've been a fan of the traditional tropes and cliches of the Slasher Movie since the trend started gaining momentum in the early eighties. So, I've decided to celebrate the sub-genre and share my enthusiasm for the stalkers, the slashers, the holiday killers, the knife wielding maniacs, the horny and thus doomed teens destined not to make it to the last reel, the feisty and the virginal last survivors.

So pull on your hockey mask, swing that butcher knife, sharpen that machete, grab that axe - we're headed to Slasher Central and most of us won't make it out alive.
